Privacy policy
What data cryptoetf.guide collects, what we do not collect, how cookies and third-party links work, and how to exercise your data rights.
What this site is, technically
cryptoetf.guide is a static website. Pages are pre-built HTML served from a web server — there is no login, no user database, no comment system, no forms to submit and no personalisation. That design choice is deliberate: the less data a site collects, the less there is to lose.
What we collect
Standard server logs. Like essentially every website, our web server may record ordinary technical information when a page is requested: IP address, user agent string, the page requested, the referring page and a timestamp. This is used to keep the site running and secure — diagnosing errors, identifying abusive traffic — and is not used to build a profile of you.
Aggregate analytics, if enabled. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful, in aggregate. Where we do, we configure it to avoid collecting more than necessary.
What we do not collect. No names, no email addresses (unless you email us), no payment or card details, no government identifiers, no wallet addresses, no private keys, no seed phrases, and no account credentials of any kind. We have no ability to access any brokerage or exchange account.
Cookies
This site does not require cookies to function, and we do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of our own. Any cookie present will be strictly functional or, where analytics is in use, limited to that purpose.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not stop this site working, because none of its content depends on them.
Third parties
Fonts. Web fonts are served from this site's own domain, not from a third-party font service. Loading a page therefore does not send a request to Google Fonts or any other external font provider.
Outbound links. When you click a link to an external site — a fund issuer, an
exchange, a regulator, a data source — you leave this site and that party's own privacy policy
applies. We do not control their data practices and are not responsible for them. Outbound
commercial links carry rel="nofollow" and open in a new tab.
Hosting. Our hosting provider processes requests on our behalf and may retain standard server logs as described above.
If you email us
If you write to contact@cryptoetf.guide we will hold your message and email address for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and to keep a record of corrections made to the site.
We do not add correspondents to a mailing list, we do not send marketing email, and we do not share or sell your address. Please do not send us sensitive personal or financial information — we have no need for it and cannot act on it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data held about you, and to object to processing or request portability. Because this site collects so little, in most cases the only personal data we hold about an individual is an email they sent us.
To make a request, email contact@cryptoetf.guide and tell us what you would like. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Children
This site is intended for adults. Its content concerns financial products that are not appropriate for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the site's technical arrangements change — for example if we add or remove an analytics provider. Material changes will be reflected here, and the review date on this page will be updated.
